Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) is licensed as a sponsor of the Bridges to Excellence(BTE) Diabetic Care Link program (DCL) and Cardiac Care Link programs (CCL). The DCL and CLL programs aim to improve care for patients with diabetes and cardiac conditions by rewarding physicians who provide exceptional care. We invite physicians who treat persons with diabetes or heart conditions to become BTE recognized and have an opportunity to earn annual incentives for providing excellent care based on BTE guidelines. BCBSTX will pay a BTE-recognized physician $100 per BCBSTX selected patient, per program year, up to 150 patients (a maximum payout of $15,000 per year).
